I'll be coming up from Pennsylvania to watch, really looking forward to it. Since I am from the south(? = PA??) I am looking for recommendations on lodging or camping around Bancroft.
Just to let you all know, my first Rally event attending is STPR and I am hooked. I hope it didn't spoil me, somehow. Anyhow, any help will be appreciated. - Ten |

Hey man, Tall pines was my first performance rally last year. it was AMAZING. we booked our hotel :
http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwest...ertyCode=66027 in july last year. The rally brings alot of people into the small town, so accommodations fill up fast. Book early. Ask around for good spectating spots. Iron bridge is the most popular. We managed to get a spot at the Tate family farm last year, walked down a snowmobile trail to a wicked spot with a big jump. I'm not sure if i'll go this year, my good buddy i would go with moved out west. we'll see!

Kirky,
Thanks for the info, but I am having a lot of trouble finding rooms/cabins/cottages. Most of the Mom and Pop places are closed that late, and the hotels are already full. Haven't checked any B&Bs out yet, but mostly those are for couples (i.e. single beds). I'm going with my brother, we're close, but not that close, lol. I'll keep trying, but it is looking a bit grim. -Ten |

That's too bad man, like i say, i guess it fills up fast being a small town. There is usually a convoy of guys from toronto subaru club that rent a full cottage. I have no details at this point on that though. i guess B&B's might be the best bet. i know that even some of the rally teams had accomodations like 45 mins away from town!
If i know of any vacansies i will let you know! stay tuned
