all you need to do once the base piece is on is slide the lock into position and pull the belt as tight as you can...that doesn't even take 30 seconds. and you can certainly take the base piece off except for events. that seems to be what most people do, by like ty, i also use mine for spirited drives.

Just leave clip off when locking not needed. Still clunky but
overall effective.

I love my CG lock. Have been using them while racing or when driving spiritedly in subarus for the past 3 or 4 years. Great little tool that keeps you very planted for the small cost and great convenience it provides.

you mean the link to the extra pictures? it looks like someone decided it was private and that only they could choose which photos you get to see...oh well, what can you do?

fortunately, you don't need that to order if you want one...
